Anthony Kopiecki
Professional Overview
His Story
Anthony Kopiecki is an individual passionate about blending his desire to impact the world with his professional goals. For Anthony, the world doesn’t have to divide down the middle between helping people and making a living. In fact, it’s this duality that has led Anthony down a road of frustration with the modern healthcare establishment. But the road doesn’t stop at a dead end. In fact, he is more dedicated than ever at affecting positive change – far away from the rapacious efforts of so many.
Ever since he was young, Anthony always felt an underlying pull towards both healthcare and business. Growing up, he was the kid that his friends would turn to when one of them got hurt. For some reason, it was obvious to the people around him that he possessed an innate quality reminiscent of a future physician. Later in his life, Anthony came across a documentary that focused on surgeons providing relief for children born with cleft palates. It was here that Anthony’s passion for people and his attraction to healthcare truly began to merge.
Anthony received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota and his M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
But it’s not just his skill as a physician but also his mind for business that has helped him to excel throughout his professional career, too. “In order to effect change, a lot of it has to come from the inside. I decided that truly helping people is most important, and I think the business route is how I can best do so.”
Business Minded
Even though Anthony has a passion for changing the healthcare industry he is also a savvy businessman. In October of 2018, he co-founded Cathexis Designs, a small business focused on designing technologically advanced garments. While his work with Cathexis has continued to this day, Anthony has also been a valued member of other organizations. A year after starting Cathexis Anthony accepted a position as Medical Director of Cell Vault in New York City. During his time as medical director, he was responsible for engaging with prospective clients to evaluate clinical opportunities. His business acumen also helped with the commercialization and adoption of new-to-market consumer health products.
Currently, Anthony Kopiecki serves as a client advisor at Cloud Latitude. He develops custom IT solutions for clients while collaborating with the sales team to craft and execute strategic digital transformations. Anthony plays a key role in leading efforts across the business development lifecycle. He conducts discovery meetings and identifies any areas of potential growth within the organization.
In addition to his professional career, Anthony loves music. His music collection is eclectic, something you might expect from such a creative individual. He enjoys everything from jazz to Electronic and is excited about the complexity with which some music is headed. He is also a fitness enthusiast and stays active by lifting weights and running in Prospect Park.
